| geoffreysnow's Full Review: Aiwa HPJ30 Headphones |
I bought this product because I wanted headphones that are fairly small and look good to use on my portable cd player. At the place where I bought them, I had a selection and I felt that these looked the best and I figured that they were cheep enough not to go wrong.
When i first opened up the package and held them in my hand the first thing that i noticed was that there is nothing to adjust. It is a one-size-fits-all thing. To achieve this, what aiwa did was to make the band that goes around the back of your head overly large to fit all ranges of size of head.
This is not bad for standing up use, but if you rest the back of your head against anything, the band pushed the speaker part of the headphones towards the front of your head and out of position from the normal place inside your ear. That gets really annoying really quick. If your neck gets tired, you will find new (and uncomfortable) ways to rest your head.
The sound is just ok. It is not the best sounding pair of headphones that I own, but then again it is one of the cheapest, if not the cheapest. so overall, if you are looking for good sound, these aren't the pair for you.
