Pros: Very good sound for an audio enthusiast, Mute button, fair price
Cons: Large but that is to be expected with these kinds of headphones
The Bottom Line: These are a great pair of headphones because they have a realistic stereo image, extremely good bass, and a reasonable price tag.

| daftunion's Full Review: Aiwa HP-X222 Consumer Headphones |
I bought these headphones as a compliment to my Aiwa NSX-DS11 surround system, and I'm happy that I did. They match my system very well, have great sound (except the high end sounds kind of fuzzy on certain types of music) and are a pretty good looking pair of headphones. If you want a strong bottom end with strong powerful bass then look no further. These headphones have tremendously powerful bass. The headphones on the Aiwa HP-X222 inside have a comfortable padding on them over the drivers to better compliment your ear. The mute switch on this pair of headphones is a big plus. I have bought lots of pairs of headphones with nice features but this is a very clever idea instead of having to get up and turn down the volume on your stereo just to hear someone talk. If your looking for a pair of headphones that don't sacrifice price for sound, then this would be a great pair of home stereo headphones for you. The only problem with the headphones is that their meant for home use only, and their not portable at all.
