Pros: Strong sound.
Sits AROUND the ears.
Cons: Heavy.
Good ear muffs.
The Bottom Line: Even though my stats are mixed I give them one an overall excellent due to the piercing factor. The closet match for my holy needs.

| austins's Full Review: Aiwa HP-X222 Consumer Headphones |
Due to the fact that I bought these phones based on the other reviews I won't say much about their technical/acoustic/style. Read the other reviews and trust them!!
However, the real reason I need some new phones is the fact that I have a number of less-than-usual cartilage piercings strewn about my ears. Because of this, normal phones which rest on the ear itself would cause me discomfort ranging from mild to extreme depending on the style. The X222s provide awesome sound while resting comfortably around my ears and not actually on them. They are a bit heavy and my ears do heat up a bit, but that is a great tradeoff over crushing bits of metal against the side of my skull.
Any overly pierced characters out there (and anyone else) would certainly do well with a pair of these. Outstanding sound and comfort for body modifiers at a reasonable price!!
