Outstanding Sound

Pros: Very sharp definition, balanced throughout dynamic range, very comfortable.

Cons: Can't think of a thing.

I normally don't like headphones, especially the cheapoid things you get with a portable CD or tape player. Something about them leaves me headachy and with ringing ears. The Sennheiser 495s, though, are more like listening to very fine speakers -- inside your head. The sound (at modest volumes) is well balanced and warm, with very sharp definition and no muddiness. Best of all, they're very comfortable, with little sensation of having headphones on at all. The long cord attaches to the left phone only, making it less likely to get all tangled up. All in all, a great value.
