Pros: Incredibly small, lit LCD shows track names, Good sound quality, Easy to use.
Cons: Software takes some getting used to, a bit pricey for the amount of memory.
The Bottom Line: I recommend this for anyone looking for a portable MP3 player, but try to find one on sale.

I bought a couple of these for relatives around Christmas of '00 and liked it so much, I bought one for myself. At the time, the price was reasonable for the amount of memory and the compactness of the player is great.
First, the pros:
-No moving parts so it doesn't skip when you use it while running or working out.
-It's smaller than my palm.
-The LCD is lit (you'd be surprised how much this matters).
-The sound quality is fantastic.
-It's upgradable.
-I dropped mine a couple times on pavement and aside from some small scratches in the surface, it still works great.
The cons:
-The software is a bit more complicated than it needs to be.
-The design is flawed: when you have the belt-clip attached to the player, you can't open the battery compartment.
-The price for a new one has not gone down at all.
I really like this MP3 player but I'm surprised the price hasn't come down or more memory isn't being included.
