| buttafuoco's Full Review: Compaq iPAQ PA-1 (64 MB) MP3 Player |
For Christmas I wanted an mp3 player but not just any player I wanted the best one. A newspaper article told me that this was the best value, had the longest battery life, and the overall best. The man at radioshack and circuit city also said that these were the most popular and selling like hotcakes, not to mention they liked them the best too.
So I got the i-paq and it is great. It holds 64 mb of digital music. If you use napster to get your mp3 you can download the smaller files and probably be able to squeeze over two hours of music into it. Which is quite a feat considering the i-paq is only about 2 by 3 inches and can hold probably the equivalant to three compact disks.
The compaq i-paq is very easy to use, but the software is a little bit harder to use and set up. Once you get it down, of course, it gets easier. To transfer music to the i-paq is very fast, depending on how many song you have. If i had it filled up completely it would only take ten or fifteen minutes.
You can do anything with an i-paq that you can with a diskman. Except the i-paq has much more. It has a self testing system, to make sure everything works. It does not skip at all no matter what. And much more.
