| keeper151's Full Review: Panasonic SL-PH270 Personal CD Player |
When I saw this cd player at the store I was in awe. I couldn't believe someone had finally put external speakers on the outside of a personal cd player. So I went home, looked around the internet to see if I could find it cheaper and if anyone had experience with it. I found out that the sound quality was pretty good on those little speakers so the next week I broke down and bought it... I am so glad I did!
This has great sound, 40 second anti-shock memory, and a secure closure for cd's. But the speakers are what make it so versatile. We took this on vacation and had a cd player everywhere we went. Not only for long plane rides but also in the hotel room. Of the three personal cd player's in our family, this is the preferred one.
Now don't get me wrong the speaker sound is definitely not *the* best you've ever heard but I don't think you can expect that in any model. What you can expect is clarity when you are in the shower... yes, we even bring it into the bathroom every now and then if we want to listen to something while taking a shower or bath. It's that portable. My husband has even taken it in the car, no wires required!
As you can tell, we love this player and I think anyone will like the convenience and versatility of it.
