Pros: Tough as nails, steady antishock performance.
Cons: None really.
It's been 3 or 4 years I've had my SL-S222, and it's still going strong.
It's been banged up repeatedly, but it still plays music really well. I've never had any problems with it at all, and the antishock performance is what I expect from 10 seconds.
I like to listen to music in places where carrying a full-sized stereo isn't practical (ie in bed at night, on buses, in school, etc.) and it does the job. Tough plastic case is scratched, but has never broken. Battery case well situated and doesn't fall off or break. The player claimed 22 hours of playback, and I believe it. I've used it a lot and it's always lasted a good amount of time on each pair of batteries.
I really like this CD player, and although it's probably out of stock by now, would recommend it to anyone looking for a tough, inexpensive portable CD player.
