Pros: You can play mp3's on it using cds, allowing endless hours of music.
Cons: Takes awhile to start playing, large, open button barely opens, headphone jack is awkwardly placed.
The Bottom Line: Buy a better quality player. For this players average price of 180 to 200 dollars, you can find a player with equal or better quality for around 100 dollars

| pablo73084's Full Review: Philips eXpanium EXP103 Personal CD Player |
The Philips Expanium is not worth the money you pay for it. It is large and awkward. The headphone jack is on the very edge of the mp3-cd player making it always feel like you are going to break it against something. The player also takes about 20 seconds to read a cd and start playing it. When you just want to listen to part of a song really quick, you lose the opportunity because all your time was wasted turn the player on. Also when wanting to change cds quickly, the lid makes it extremely difficult to do so. After the open button is hit the lid opens about a centimeter and then you must pull it the rest of the way.
