The Bottom Line: i would recommend this player because its simple to use, portable and does everything it says it can.

This is a solid little cd player. I bought it at an open box sale at futureshop. It had a few little scratches on it, but nothing big. It worked beautifully. Its quite small, about the size of the cd, only thicker. I keep mine in my pocket (i have big pockets, so it might not fit in everyones pants) The sound quality of the player is moderate. I like my music loud and the player only gives you nine levels at three steps each, i find that at the top, im still wishing for some more. The dual mode bass boost is all right, sometimes, with big bass songs, there is a very noticeable wobble, yet on the first mode, there doesnt seem to be a problem. I like the line out function, this makes the sound quality better on home stereo systems etc. The entire car kit package is excellent. I used it on a trip down to florida with no problems. And as to the G-Protection? I can honestly say I've never heard my unit skip.
