i used to have a really bad cd player made by classic that i had got at target. it had no anti-skip and it was relatively large. I NEEDED A NEW CD PLAYER!!!!!!!! so i was looking on the internet and i saw some great deals for various cd players at circuit city and target. i made a huge mistake. it's not that the cd player is bad. in fact, i use it when i am walking and the hand strap is great, but it isn't my type. first of all, it is too heavy for me (for me) the rubber that they put on the back of it is a great feature in case someone drops the cd player. the bass feature isn't really helpful because their are three settings for it and it usually sounds better if it is in the middle. i love that anti-skip feature even though it doesn't help an extreme much. i bought a classic cd player that was blue for my mother on her b-day and it has a slight less amount of antiskip. the battery life is pretty good. i use rechargeable because the cd player has a long battery life on rechargebles and comes with the ac power adapter anyway. I decided to test the CD player by taking it in the shower while it was on since it is supposed to be water resistant, and i am one of those idiots who has to be stupid and try to electricute myself. it passed the test, the avls(auto volume limiter sys.) is a handy feature if you need to stop yourself from making yourself deaf. i like to use my cd player to listen through music on my computers speakers and the volume control can only be adjusted by lifting up the cd player. i would have liked a cd player that can be taken in the water and dropped from three feet without any maulfunctions and more sound quality and sound adjusting capabilities.
