| boonkauc's Full Review: Panasonic SC-PM03 CD Shelf System |
When I first feasted my eyes on this at Circuit City, I thought to myself that it could never make any amount of sound big enough to scare a fly. Boy was I wrong. I grabbed the nearest salesman and asked him if I could listen to it. He popped in a CD, handed me the remote, and to my astonishment, this system sounded better than many of the larger systems, and it was less expensive! I immediately was convinced, took it home that day, and have been happy with it ever since. The small speakers put out more sound than you would need for an average sized house, and they really fill up the room with sound. The sound quality is great, and I can't hear any distortion at all.
As for the ease of operation, it doesn't get any easier than this. The remote is a piece of cake to use, and all of the buttons on both the system and remote are clearly marked for easy use. The CD player is great--with the ability to repeat songs or entire disks, play random songs, and even let you program your own list. To my amazement, the CD player also plays CD-R's. The radio has a great tuner with more presets than you could possibly want, and to top things off, the speakers are made of real hardwood, which gives a better sound and looks great, with a great looking system to match. This system is perfect for your office at work, or even around the house. All in all, a very nice and easy to use system.
Finally, durability--this stereo is built solid, and doesn't look like it will break in the near future. I have had mine for over a year, and it still works like the day I bought it.
