After my review of the 880 I sold it to a friend of mine and even today I has been working nicely.
As for the Connection, it is a standard connection that Bel has placed in all of there 800 class and 900 class detectors. The only time that I see that the connection goes bad, is when the curly cord is being used and stretched to the limit.

A few more details here and the rating goes up. If you had given approximate distances and city/highway performance I could have rated higher. As it stands, this review is only "somewhat helpful" in that now I know that the power connection is suspect.
