Too Many False Ka Warnings looking for another model after 1 year.

Pros: Early on I enjoyed it and it saved me several tickets easily offsetting the price.

Cons: After 6mo I started getting a constant timed loop of false Ka warnings.

The Bottom Line: Unless you think I happen to get a bad unit, consider another model by Escort or another vendor.

I have 4 vehicles all with various models or brands of some type of 10-way radar detection. The Escort 7500 new out of the box was one of the best I had for the 1st 6 months. After about that time it started acting haunted. Ka warning in the mountains on USFS Firebreaks or wilderness areas where a there is little if any chance or likelihood of a radar trap, unless they are clocking 4x4's at 10 to 30 mph. The unit cries Bear (Ka) so much I have taken to turning it off when it starts in a repetitive 40 - 55 second warning loop. Other radar units (passing cars) also set it off, parking it in the driveway with one of my other radar equipped vehicles unit on sets it off. I am looking already (too soon) for another unit to replace it. I'll certainly read the reviews before purchasing my next vendor and unit. Lucky for me I purchased a Return Warranty.. Guess where I am headed.
