I've owned a 7500 for about a year now with great results. I bought the Passport 7500 after researching the Valentine 1, and Bel's current line of products. I decided on the 7500 primarily because of the cost, and BMW Roundel's review of the product. The 7500 has a expertmeter mode which shows multiple signals at one time. This is very cool. I particularly like the "auto" mode which makes the unit very quite to drive. This is very important to me since other brands I've used end up driving me crazy with false alarms. All in all I would recommend the product. At $229 retail, not including specials on Escort's website, it's a very good buy.
