Pros: Great radar and Laser Detection. Text and Voice Alert!

Cons: Too many False alerts

The Bottom Line: Good for your first radar detector!

I got this radar detector because I seen it on sale in a Sears ad for $99.99. I thought this was a excelent price because it was $80 dollars off the regular price and because it is Unidens current top of the line radar detector. I owned two other radar detectors one being a Early Warning radar detector and the other being a Uniden 6100SWS. The Uniden 6100SWS was the worst radar detector I had ever seen so the LRD777 made a excellent replacement detector.

The features the LRD777 has are excellent. It detects all of the current radar,laser, and safety warning bands. It undetectible to VG2 radar. The detector has voice alert and has a text display which is my favorite feature.

I recommend it to everyone!
