The Bottom Line: The sub is gorgeous. The dual magnets are very impressive, the aluminum cone/rubber surround provides smooth responsive sound with no distortion... and the best part, these babies POUND! :)

As far as I'm concerned, the Infinity Kappa Perfect is the best subwoofer out there for under $300. I don't doubt that it could hold it's own against some of the more expensive ones too!
As far as how they perform... I've got mine mounted in a sealed hatchback enclosure with 1.35 cubic feet of space per compartment. They're powered with a Rockford Fosgate 800.2 punch amp, so I'm pushing about 200w into each one. However, I can say that no matter how much power I'm throwing into them, they are the most responsive subwoofer I've heard to date! The sound quality is great, they hit hard, they'll rumble, they'll drone, and they're so smooth throughout. I'm convinced that it's impossible to catch them distorting! (probably due to the aluminum cone and rolled rubber surrounds)
The RMS for these subs is stated by Infinity to be 350w. If I could run that much through them, I probably wouldn't bother (unless I was putting my car in competition or something).. it just doesn't seem necessary. They're loud enough with my 200w as it is. I've got a VW Jetta, so I have an enormous trunk- and I would recommend anyone getting these subs to give them a decent amount of room. (if they're pointed too close to the trunk latch, they may cause some rattling- my friend's car does this.) They WILL push the air around a bit if you like your music loud. :)
Overall, if you're looking for a gorgeous sub, made by a reputable manufacturer, that's guarenteed to wow the crowds, but not your bank account, Definetly give these a try!
