"Hello, we are unable to come to the phone right now, but we'll know the minute that you called!" Of all the features that AT&T brings to this answering machine, my favorite has to be that you will know the exact time that each message was placed. There is no second guessing here..if Jane said she called at 3 and the machine registers 6--guess what? Jane really called at 6! This is a feature that is very useful.....................................................We purchased this aswering machine about a year ago at our local Target on sale for $23. It has been dependable from the start. I figure that a years worth of answering the calls I miss and the calls I've screened without breaking down, has earned this answering machine my respect.........The price is one of the lowest I've yet to see for an answering that provides so many features. I've mentioned the first, the ability to see exactly when a call came in. You can also see the blinking red light across the room to alert you that you have new messages. After you've heard the new messages, the light goes off until the next comes in. To retrieve messages, you simply press the large oval button. You can choose to save the messages or delete them one by one. There is ample space to save messages on this machine....................................................This machine also comes without a tape. It is completely tapeless and I am thankful for never having to replace one again! It is basic to program the time and date, as well as change both when needed. Everything about this machine is very easy to use. You can see how many new messages you have from the number lit in the top screen. If you are out and want to check your messages, you can do this also. I have never used this feature, but it is an option if you need to check on calls while you are out...................I recommend this machine for many reasons. The price for all of the features it comes with is unbeatable. For a little over $20, I feel like I could replace it once a year if I had to. It's been a year, though, and 1000 messages later it's still running like a champ. As a matter of fact, my original message still plays. It does not cut off messages in 5 seconds either, as I have had happen with other machines before. You will not have to buy more tapes or wonder when someone called. When you do have to change the date or time, it can be learned in about a minute. No more searches for that darn instruction book when you need to reprogram! You can also adjust the volume to your preference.................................................All in all AT&T gets my thumbs up for providing a machine with features usually found in higher priced models. The value and quality can be had for around $25 with this answering machine.
