Bad battery

Pros: Clear signal, Caller ID on handset.

Cons: Batteries don't last long.

The Bottom Line: Try other brands first.

I bought my phone a little over a year ago and for the past couple of months have been experiencing problems with the charge.

When the handset off the base for more than an hour or so -whether I am on a call or the phone is idle- it runs out of "juice." Also, once the battery is low, it takes hours to recharge.

I never had to even think about the batteries in any of my cordless phones before, much less have them last so little.

If you go to Panasonic.com looking for info on this product (or its infamous batteries) you'll find none.
