We bought this phone and 3 extra handsets in April of 2003. By Sept of 2003, three of the handsets when bad. Callers couldn't hear us, or was garbled, or the handset could not find the base unit (max distance from base is 30' line of sight), etc. When trying to contact Panasonic, you have to wait about half hour to an hour to talk to person. Here it is Jan of 2004 and we are still waiting to get them replaced.
