The Bottom Line: Very pleased with the Panasonic KX-TG2000B and I'm hard to please and very critical. I spent thirty years with Pacific NW Bell before retiring in 1983.
I had a Seimens unit prior to this. The Panasonic outperformed the Seimens unit in every way. I was able to get as much as 200 ft. away from the base unit before static started to come into play. Had some problems using the unit with the D-Link wireless router but was able to resolve that. The Seimens unit had provision for 4 speed dial buttons whereas the Panasonic has none but that's a minor irritant. The sloping face of the main unit makes it much easier to read then the Seimens. With the Seimens unit, the back bedroom phone had difficulty ringing and picking up the line. The Panasonic works perfectly. I personally like the call transfer feature on the Panasonic over than the Seimens.
After spending thirty years with Pacific NW Bell I'm very critical of phone performance.
