Pros: Clear reception, Quality features, Price, Ease of use
Cons: Hmm. For the first time here on epinions, I would have to say 'none'
The Bottom Line: Panasonic is listening to their customers and once again, after so many years, creating quality products like the KX-TC1450B.

"Thanks Panasonic!" This is my motto every time I get to pick up the phone and talk through the KX-TC1450B model.
In contrast to my previous phone (a cheap, bad reception, fragile GE), this is definitely a true example of quality, resistance, and ease of use about cordless phones (just like a PC, with a minor difference: plug-and-“talk”).
I bought this model for my office about three months ago, and since then we have been blessed with exceptional reception (more than 50m from base), able to resist serious falls from the desk, and always ready to receive calls the easy way. As soon as it rings, we can pickup the handset from the base and start talking with no buttons to press. Also, it feels so great and comfortably against the ear (my old one would have turned my ear red in no time). A good addition, although most phones today included it anyway, is the phone jack on the headset. This allows free-hand calls to continue doing whatever you were doing before.
The “back-lighted” dialing pad is a great feature, especially when you receive a call in the dark and don’t know where you left your handset since it activates automatically when ringing. Also, it lights up every time you press the on button to let you dial correctly the number and avoid calling your neighbor by mistake at three o’clock in the morning.
The base includes a speakerphone, but as you may know, technology hasn’t been great with speakerphones. It’s so sensitive, the person in the other end hears every little noise in my office except my voice. It can be activated from the handset, a touch we consider an advantage when running out of battery in the handset and avoid running to other phone or to the base; otherwise, the call will drop.
Speaking of batteries, I found the one in the KX amazingly capable of maintaining charge for more than two days. I once forgot to putting the handset back on the base on a Friday, and on Monday I was still able to use it.
A true change…
I never considered myself a Panasonic fan, but this time, they have changed for the better with this excellent cordless phone. From now on, every time I go shopping for tech products, I’ll be seeing Panasonic from a whole different perspective.
