If you need a phone that is reliable, yet pretty light-weight with amazing clarity, the Panasonic KX-TC1450B is the right choice. It is a very good office phone, and is headset compatible, so that makes long calls comfortable and gives you time to multi-task (write while talking). Even when I do long distance calls, to a remote area, it is still crystal-clear and I can hear every thing in the background too. It also has a speakerphone so I can talk while doing something else, an intercom so i can talk with the phone to the speakerphone, and auto dialing to programmed numbers.
