Pros: excellent sound quality, loaded with features
Cons: button placement leads to some unintentional hangups
The Bottom Line: This phone is an excellent value for the money. It has many more features than others in its price range, and the sound quality is better than many wall phones.

I had sworn off cordless phones. I'd tried three different ones, and every one had poor sound quality, and the batteries would die after an hour or so of talking. I figured I could probably get better performance if I bought one of the higher end models, but who wants to pay $150 and up for a phone?
Well, I moved into a new apartment, leaving my old wall phone behind.. so it was time for a shopping trip. My local Target store had this phone on sale for $59.00, regular price $89.00, so I figured I'd give it a try.. I expected to have to return it, so I kept the receipt.
I've had the phone for eight months now, and you couldn't pry it from my fingers. I love this phone. It sounds much clearer than my wall phone. It has all the features I could need. The Caller ID display screen is located on the BACK of the handset, which is very handy, I don't even have to pick up the phone. There's also an indicator light on the base that blinks when you have new calls.
It's easy to program the memory numbers, and even has one "direct" button that you can set to the number you call most frequently (or an emergency number). If you have voice mail service, you can also program in the number to your service, so you can check messages with one touch. The voice mail service also has an indicator light which blinks when you have messages.
The only thing I've found inconvenient about this phone is the placement/size of the hangup button.. I've inadvertently hung up on people a few times while trying to shift positions during those long phone calls. I wouldn't consider this a dealbreaker though.
I've been very impressed with this phone. For a lower-priced phone, the sound quality is incredible, and I can't imagine a feature that I could need that this phone doesn't have. Well worth the money, in my opinion.
