Two years ago, I bought a cheap $9 phone. It worked fine the first time, but after that I couldn't get the thing to work. I suffered with it for the rest of the year but last year, I got this Panasonic. It is the best phone I have ever used!
The phone has an impressive display on the back. You can program up to 10 numbers in the phone's memory and 5 more on the base's memory. If you program your area code(s), caller ID will automatically detect local and long distance calls. There is also a programmable voice mail button and flash sessions.
The best thing about this phone is the quality. Everything is always crystal clear, and it is extremely powerful.
To test the capabilities of this phone, I took the phone to my neighbor's house while leaving the base in my house. I went into my neighbor's house and I got a perfect signal. I pressed intercom, and people who were in my house at the time heard me perfectly.
I am very impressed with this phone, and the battery lasts a LONG time!
