I recently purchased the Panasonic KX-TC 1870B. It is a full-featured 900 MHz Digital Spread Spectrum Cordless Phone. It has a speakerphone, dual keypads (lighted on the handset), caller/call-waiting ID on the handset with backlit LCD and battery charge indicator, digital answering machine and pager notification (it will call your pager/cell phone if you wish when you receive a new call - even if the caller leaves no message!). The range of the phone is excellent and the clarity rivals a corded phone. I also like the sturdy feel of the handset although some may complain it is a bit heavy because it houses the battery. The handset comes with a belt clip and "hands-free" jack for a headset (optional). You couldn't ask for many more features on a single-line cordless. The only setback is the price. It is a bit steep at the suggested price of $179.95. I did, however, find it on the WEB for about $130 with 2nd day shipping. I highly recommend this full-featured, clear, quality cordless unit.
