Pros: Well made
Excellent for astronomy or birding

Excellent for looking far distances
Cons: Can get fuzzy/foggy if it is too cold.
The Bottom Line: A great pair at a cheap price which offers you the ability to zoom in on birds, the stars or anything else. Definitely worth the money!
visio's Full Review: Bushnell PowerView 13-1650 Binocular
I was going to get a pair of Nikon because I know they have been around and all their other equipment has been fantastic but I settled for these and am glad I did.
These are actually quite good. Aren't too heavy or too light and don't feel cheap like a walmart brand.
They are a little harder to get used to focusing then a 10X50 pair but the extra 6X is cool for longer distance, birding, astronomy etc. I regularly use this and a 10X50 pair and like both.
A tripod is not needed but would make it easier to steady. It is a bit harder than the 10X50 but not terrible. If you are doing stationary items such as astronomy(well it won't go anywhere that fast :P) a tripod would be a great plus.
On cold days it can get slightly foggy and hard to look through. I only had this problem once and I live in the cold region of the US :P - Once you take it inside it warms up and works fine.
Also right out of the package the bincoular will give a fuzzy/out-of-focus picture. This is not because of the binoc. Give it a few minutes to warm up and it will work fine. This happened with both my pair of Bushnell and has nothing to do with the quality of the binoculars.
I didn't think you could get a pair of binoculars that were this good for this cheap. Guess I was wrong.
