Pros: Close focusing, inexpensive.
Cons: Very prone to fogging, can't focus far away, poor workmanship.
The Bottom Line: For indoor use only...and what good is that in birding optics?

From the moment I bought these binoculars, I knew I'd made a mistake. I couldn't focus enough on a bird that was only a few hundred feet away with the binoculars on to tell what kind it was. With my naked eye, however, I could tell it was a crow. That's unforgivable for birding optics.
Also, everytime the temperature dropped below 45 degrees, they would fog up so bad, I couldn't use them for hours.
These binoculars do have a very close focus ability, though. This makes them ideal for use indoors to look at your birdfeeders. You can find a lot cheaper optics for that purpose than these, though.
The lenses themselves came with an obvious occlusion as well. I guess quality control isn't exactly Job #1 at Swift.
I would be very cautious about buying ANY Swift product after my experiences with the Plovers.
Why didn't I return them, you ask? The store where I bought them went out of business days after my purchase. Hmm, it must of been from selling inferior products...
