Pros: Huge storage card, great features, nice zoom, Awesome to start with.
Cons: battery life is shortened significantly with the zoom. Difficult to change exposure setting.
The Bottom Line: If you are a first timer or a veteran of digital camera technology this is a great camera.

The Casio QV 2300 was my first digital camera and I have had it for three years now. It is GREAT! I've looked around at other brands and even casio's other lines but still none have all the features that this one does. The card that comes with it will hold more than 1000 photos at good quality. All other cameras will hold 50-100. It has an easy synch to the computer and I love the software that came with it. The only reason I haven't purchased another camera is that none compare with this one. Three years old and still ahead of its time. I've dropped it more than I would like to admit and it has never broken.
