Pros: Relatively Low Cost, quality pictures, easy to use.
Cons: not many really, does what it should at this price well
The Bottom Line: I recommended this camera to a friend of mine for their first one a year ago, its still a great little camera.

| phototazz's Full Review: FUJIFILM FinePix 2400 Zoom Digital Camera |
The camera can use batteries up, but if you buy a quality 1600MAH - 1800MAH battery set, you will do fine, these take a lot of pics. Camera is compact, easy to use, and even someone who has only a limited knowledge of digital or regular cameras, can pick this up, and find their way through the menus rather quickly and easily.
The price has dropped somewhat, making this an even more appealing choice, for those who want a digital to try out first, before plunging in for a 5 MP camera. You can see just how often you WOULD want to print out pictures, or if you end up more sharing them on the web.
You will see some 1.3MP cameras priced higher, with only a few hard to comprehend features and more complexities thrown in, not a better picture, which is what you want.
You are limited to 64MB smartmedia cards, but these hold a great deal of info and pictures, and should serve the user quite nicely.
