Pros: It won't cost much to get you started. Maybe 50 to 60 bucks.
Cons: Can't look at the pics till after you put them on your computer.
The Bottom Line: Don't waste your time and money. It will not make you a happy camper. Spend a little more and get something worthwhile.

| cheezit_01's Full Review: RCA CDS1005 Digital Camera |
Mistake number 1: I bought one of these digital "marvels".
Since it was the first digital camera that I had ever owned, I was really enthused....right up until I took it out of the box. The whole experience, from installing batteries to getting the "pictures" to the computer was, how shall I put this, exasperating, to say the least. I was not happy with the camera from the beginning. I took a couple of pictures and I didn't even know if they took until I figured out how to get them to my computer. To be real honest, I never did get them to the computer. I was so mad at this piece of garbage, I put it back in the box it came in and it sat on a shelf for quite awhile. I couldn't even take it back to the place where I bought it because it is just like computer software. They won't take it back if it has been opened. One day, my son wanted to take it to a second hand store to sell it. I said o.k. Long story short, the second hand store wouldn't even take it. If a second hand store won't even give you $20.00 for a hardly used digital camera, what does that tell you?
They say that you get what you pay for. In this case, I did not get what I paid for. I paid for a camera. I got a piece of junk.
