the basic camera kit was a 28 or 35, a fifty f1.4,
and a 135. Lately the 135 has lost some of its luster from those "glory days". Too bad, because they walk all over even the best zooms in terms of overall performance. I love them because they are almost perfect for "street" lenses. Sharp, fast, with excellent contrast and super color transmission (and when you're lucky good bokeh) just enough stand-off distance to keep the photographer from being part of the action, and they are always cheaper than anything else in their quality range. Nicely done, Mr. Braun.
