only half for Macs

Pros: a decent camera, nice IR Filter

Cons: No Mac software to access stillshot media card

I was happy with this camera until i realised that there was no Mac software for their still shot media cards. the Firewire DV output was painless and of decent quality, but this one's going back to the store unless Panisonic can get a painfully simple program out the door that will let me get these still camera photos out and onto my G4. every other company can.

With a large part of the creative community being on Mac based computers and Apple's success with it's iMovie software and iMac DVs, this one is better left on the shelf if you don't run a Windows PC and actually want to access it's advertised features. the least they could have done is indicated that this is a Windows only product. very annoying.
