I am very impressed with my new Sony DCR-TRV11 camcorder. Not only is this thing small, lightweight, and perfect for shooting your videos, it packs the punch of a professional digital camera as well!

Recording digitally onto the tapes made by Sony is very simple and useful for clearing the memory resident on the camcorder. This thing is also very easy to plug into your properly equipped computer and edit the videos you shoot right there. That is the true advantage of digitally recording a movie, editing is a lot easier and much more precise.

This camcorder has a great battery life as well (for a digital camcorder). I've used many camcorders now over the past years, and this one outlasts all of them two fold by as much as I can tell. This of course adds a little weight to the camcorder, but believe you me, it is worth it.

This camcorder also double as a digital camera. It has the capacity to hold several pictures on the memory, and even transfer them to your computer by way of Sony's cute little memory sticks. Sony, it seems has been trying to incorporate these sticks into almost all of their products recently, although, in a camcorder I find it to be not that useful unless they increase the memory they hold greatly.

The image quality of this camera is great! The digital and optical zooms work extremely well under most normal conditions. This camera also features great effects features right on the camcorder. Things like specialized fades and color distorts are fun tools to spice up your videos with.

This is a great camcorder that is small and easy to carry around with you. As long as you don't mind paying more for a top name and quality that Sony provides, this camcorder is for you.
