| albichulo's Full Review: Samsung DVD-N2000 DVD Player |
I purchased this dvd player about two months ago and I've been happy with it ever since. Prior to that I was considering between this one and the Toshiba Nuon player, however I chose to go with the Samsung. I called Samsung customer service since the first day to help me with the hookups and they were very helpful. The box includes a game (ballistic, which is very fun), four demos, and a controller. The dvd player has two front plug-and-play ports for the game controllers. However don't buy this player for the games b/c first of all there are't too many Nuon games out there and second, graphic wise, they're as good as cheap PS games. Despite that the picture quality is very good, I'd recommend a flat tube tv which will really make the difference. Some of the features include Finemotion, nice Zoom, SmartMatrix which between other things lets you jump to any part of the movie without actually stoping the movie and starting from the main menu.
I got the player for $200 eventhough it runs for about $350 on the market. I think it's worth every penny considering it is a high-end, next-generation dvd player. If you're considering a dvd player than buy this one eventhough there are not too many Nuon discs on sale so the whole Nuon engine will not do too much good.
