Hot off the assembly line comes the Sony DVP-S360. While in my local audio and video shop I stop I noticed a movie playing on a big screen television. It was the Matrix and this time I was simply amazed by the stunning images and sound.
I am a true fan when it comes to Sony and their products. They always manage to create award winning audio and video products, i.e. the Sony Playstation. This time however their superb quality comes in the form of a truly incredible DVD player that has the capability to bring movies to life.
I am a true believer in Sony and they have never failed to give the consumer high caliber products at affordable prices. The sticker price for this player was 200 at a local discount audio video store where I do an abundance of my shopping.
This unit has it all. It is equipped with Precision Drive with Active Tilt Control, Component Video Output(Y/PB/PR), 10-bit Video DAC(Digital to Analog Convertor)with 27Mhz processing, and liquid Smooth Scan/Smooth Slow Modes. All these characteristics are the backbone of unfading high quality. It also has dolby digital 5.1 logic outputs for some mind blowing audio, when used in conjunction with a dolby digital logic surround sound 5.1 home theater system.
The image quality is extremely high on the caliber scale, surpassing the competitors. Thanks to its image enhancement circuitry the resolution is out of this world. Enabling the user to see things once before imagined in the VCR realm. You see EVERYTHING in astonishing vivid contrast, resolution, and color. Images are crystal clear and razor sharp, truly cutting edge.
The sound is some of the best I've heard through a home theater system. The 5.1 circuitry allows the user to hear even the faintest of dialogue only dream about on a VCR. There no more of those annoying "what did they say?". The overall sound quality is excellent, explosions, sound effects, background sound, sound tracks, and dialogue.
I recommend this high caliber DVD player to all of the people out there who are experiencing the VCR blues. GET up and get on the good foot with the Sony DVP-S360. Believe me, you won't be disappointed.
