Here is a product that defines video and audio performance with beautiful and elegant looks, which will make you want to watch all your DVD's again. Once I remembered to program the Progressive scan the detail of the picture was absolutely beautifully rendered with natural colors and resolution that rivaled anything I've seen so far. The more expensive machines from Pioneer and Panasonic might seem a tad sharper at times, with overly enhanced outlines, and a few more motion artifacts, which the Sony dvp-s9000es refuses to do. Even at 5000 dollars, you will not get better picture or sound, with more detail and natural color.
The quality of sound is state of the art and with the Sony Processor there is more detail and dynamics than anything on the Planet. And if that wasn't enough, SACD and CD performance is incredible that will satisfy your every need for the highest quality.
I'm extremely happy with this fine piece of equipment for the best performance from DVD's, cd's and SACD technology, with progressive scan that really works and rivals the most expensive players. Yes, fantasies do come true and the DVP-s9000es has made the reason for DVD and audiophile sound a reality.
