Cons: None yet.

The Bottom Line: Good value and features. I would recommend for general dvd and cd use. But, will need dolby receiver for full experience.

Purchased new from uBid.com for $169 as first dvd player, and to replace older cd player. Relatively easy set-up. Excellent picture and sound. Much better sound than old cd player. Listening to Dylan (Time Out Of Mind) as I write this, and the sound is greatly enhanced. Don't really care one way or the other about Nuon, but hey, I'll take it. Even without it, this would still be a good value. Note: dolby digital not onboard, will need dolby receiver to get full experience, even though the sound directly to the t.v. (stereo) is good. Also, has coaxial output only, no optical output, but not really a drawback in my opinion. Use good cables in any case (Monster, etc.) for best results.
