Sony's RM-VL900 delivers powerful convenience at my finger tips. It has pre-programmed codes to control up to 8 A/V components plus learning capability. More cool features which I love is the glow in the dark keys, and rubberized corners to protect my table tops.

It controls up to 8 of my components: TV, VCR, cable/DBS, DVD, CD, MD, Tape, amp. It ranges up to 32 feet, which is great seating at the kitchen table. It also has a one hour memory backup, uses 4 "AA" batteries. I only paid $59.95 for the Sony remote, through crutchfield.
That is why I would rate the Sony RM-VL900 one of the top remote controls.
