| david_pitt's Full Review: Philips 42FD9932 42 in. EDTV-Ready TV |
Are you the kind of person who has to have everything better than your best friend? Do you just love to buy more and more electronics and eventually have your house so oriented around electricity that you need your power plant in your backyard just to run your house? Or, do you just want a better TV than that 52" projection that just seems to be taking up space in your living room? My recommendation: go plasma.
A plasma screen TV brings you the best available picture quality, large sizes, and they fit on the wall. There are some downsides, however. An example of this would be the price. Are you looking for that new BMW down payment or a new TV? The decision is up to you. OK, so there is only one downside, but if you have the money the $10,000 (yes 10 with three zeros, not a typo) is worth it. Actually, the Philips FD9932 is fairly cheap for a plasma TV.
The Philips FD9932 delivers exceptional picture and sound quality to your living room wall. Just plug in your reciver, DVD player, and satellite dish and you're ready for the ultimate viewing expirence. To tell you the truth, I've never really heard the sound on the TV. I plugged it directly into my reciver. To be even more honest, I'm not sure their even IS sound. (probably though)
I've never really had any problems with durability, so I can leave this section blank. I've also never had any problems with it, except maybe a little bit setting up.
My final recommendation is: if you have the money, buy the TV.
Recommended:
Yes
Amount Paid (US$): 10000
