Just a quick note - these are amazing headphones, a recording studio standard.

Pros: ACCURATE, super high sound level capability, great isolation, great for professional recording.
Cons: a couple of db lower bass than I'd expect.

If you want to know what your music was intended to sound like by the original recording artist and recording engineer, please purchase these headphones and start studying what accurate sound reproduction sounds like. Admittedly, slightly lacking in lower bass, these headphones DO provide accurate bass without excessive artificial harmonic content unlike most headphones that seem to have a ton of bass but most of it is fairly muddy (there are excellent exceptions however, beyerdynamic and sony make a pair each of great headphones with a lot of bass, but they are not superior in any other way to these headphones and may be inferior as far as midrange distortion and flatness goes).
Wonderful headphones. Maybe not ideal though if you want to listen to music in a complimentary way (that makes music sound arguably better than it originally did through artifical EQ etc).
