I use these on my computer, plugged into an Audio Alchemy headphone amplifier. These are superb headphones for the price, and, owing to their innovative design, the most comfortable I've ever tried. There's no pushing or tugging to get the right fit -- they size themselves to accommodate any adult's head.
Compared to my Sennheiser HD600's, the AKG's are a bit more forward-sounding. They aren't quite as neutral as the Sennheisers, but at half the price represent a much better deal. Everyone mentions how comfortable the Sennheisers are, but the AKG's are clearly superior in this regard. They are so light and comfortable you can easily forget you're wearing them.
I have no idea why Sennheiser is a far more popular brand than AKG, unless it's simply due to marketing. At comparable price levels, I believe AKG headphones are superior.
