Great for a noisy environment

I work in a very noisy environment, and I wanted a set of headphones that would be comfortable to wear and also provide some isolation from what's going on around me. Many people in my office wear headphones so I had a reasonable group to sample from when making my decision. I also checked the web for product reviews and these seemed to agree with my personal opinions. The Beyerdynamic DT831 is a great headphone in general, but really stands out when there is a lot of noise around you.

If you don't need to worry about outside noise, you can get excellent headphones for much less money.

I am neither an audiophile nor an electrical engineer, so I can't speak to the technical merits of the product. These headphones are comfortable, provide good sound, and give me some isolation.
