I have been listening to Music since the day I was born; it is a part of me. One of my earliest memories are of my father and I listening to his old Vinyl record player. Until I put the Grado RS-1's on my head, I did not realize how good music can sound. When one listens to these headphones, one is not listening to good headphones, but rather, listening to music. Most people perceive headphone sound as harsh, and flat. I can assure you these headphones are not harsh or flat, rather light and smooth.
The Grado RS-1's have a mahogany air chamber and look very elegant. At the first glance, one can tell there is something special brewing within. They utilize UHPLC (Ultra High Purity Long Crystal) wires in order to insure that the sound is transported to the Headphones without interference. There are soft foam pads for your ears, although after a few hours they become uncomfortable. Overall, they are spectacular headphones.
