Crewdog03's Full Review: Koss PRO-4AAT Consumer Headphones
This set of headphones are the best headphones you could buy without spending a fortune. They have great bass and treble response... basically the full range of hearing with clear crisp sound. With these, you hurt before the sound even distorts. Unlike those $10 "wannabe" headphones and earphones, these will produce the same frequency range as a good pair of speakers yet let you have the sound right there with you and only you. No more waking up the neighbors with stereos blasting and having the cops called on you. If you really wanted you can even make your ears hurt with these things. They are a powerful set of headphones.
The part I like the best about these is how they fit so comfortably. They seem so be made with total comfort in mind. The seal around the ears to not only drown out outside noise but keep the music (or whatever you are listening to) within the space of it and your ears. Your family or friends won't be mad about the seeping sounds from your headphones. The part that rests on your head is more comfortable than any other set of headphones I've ever put on. These are padded so you aren't in pain while trying to listen with them.
The only down side might be that they are quite heavy, but for quality electronics and audio/video equipment, you must expect this.
