These headphones are great for rap music. The bass is deep and loud, sometimes it even hurts my ears. THe power handling is great too you can turn them up as loud as you want without distortion. The only problem is that if you dont like rap music, or like to listen to a variety of music like I do, these are not a good choice. The high frequencies are muffled and flat to say the least. Voices are flat also. These are not terribly expensive stereo headphones, but for the same price you can find better ones (aiwa, sony) that have better overall sound.
If you are not turned off these headphones yet, I will talk about comfort. These headphones can be somewhat tight on your ears. The foam padding is not as soft as other headphones. The open space for your ears is also somewhat narrow so unless you have small ears they will not fit very well. They will not completely surround your ears.
