Pros: Very good sound for the price. Comfortable to wear. Long cord.
Cons: Too large to travel with them.
The Bottom Line: For an inexpensive pair of headphones, these headphones have really impressed me. The comfort and sound are well above average. A great deal despite them being too large for travel.

| bczernik's Full Review: Sennheiser HD 433 Consumer Headphones |
** UPDATE MAY 2007! **
I am still using these as my main computer headphones, which I use a lot. I run over the cord with my chair a lot, get them tangled, but they are still working very well. I also purchased a wireless set of Sennheiser's (different model) for the living room/TV watching (see review). I've very impressed with Sennheiser in general since I had found it hard to find comfortable headphones that didn't give me ear fatigue. The only tiny issue with these is when music has very low lows (like ambient music from Steve Roach or Brian Eno), the bass occasionally breaks up. But even that is rare.
[ HISTORY ]
As a musician and music connoisseur, I wanted an inexpensive pair of headphones that I could keep at work without worrying about losing them. This pair has really does the trick.
[ COMFORT & DESIGN ]
I'm amazed how comfortable the headphones are. I forget I'm wearing them. Usually I'm sensitive to having headphones on. The foam really seems to keep them from feeling too tight. I also like the fact the cord is quite long (and it came with an attachment to connect the headphones to the larger 1/4" jacks).
[ SOUND ]
The sound is very good and balance. Nothing overwhelming but solid. It is good if you can control the treble/bass so you can adjust them if you need more low or high end (although I don't adjust mine with my computer).
[ LOOKS ]
They aren't bad looking -- not great either. They feel substantial enough that I don't expect any accidental breaks. They are a bit large so I haven't used them for my travels, but I didn't expect to use them for travel.
[ PRICE ]
Very inexpensive for the sound. I would have expected them to cost at least twice as much if someone showed them to me.
