So you are a DJ and you are looking for some headphones. The headphones need to be loud, precise, and easy to take on and off when you need to. The headphones will be used to cue in the next song. You have to be able to be able to hear the "cue song" over the loudness of the music playing.
I chose the Sony MDR-CD60. Why did I choose this you might ask? Why did I not choose a more expensive pair of headphones? The reason I chose this is because I had a friend who owned one, and he was a DJ also. The style of the headphones I saw was very attractive. It was simple, it adjusted well to my head, and the sound quality that came out of the headset was gorgeous.
I must admit that this headset does not have the swivel earphone piece as the other more expensive DJ headphones do, but to me, that is not a big thing. Another downside to this headpiece is the length of the cord. It is not very long. So, you are very limited to where you can go with this piece, not too far from you stereo. It is not heavy set like other headsets, so it does not weigh down on your head.
All in all, this headpiece is a great for the price you pay. This has been a great investment because it has lasted me almost 2 years now. The sound quality had not diminished at all. I will continue to use this headpiece, and I will recommend them to others.
