techstep45's Full Review: Sony MDR-V700DJ Professional Headphones
Overall sound quality is excellent. Configurability is awesome. First pair owned ended up cracking at the ends. I do DJ, but I make sure I take care of my equipment. I thought maybe I was a little too rough with my first pair so I bought another pair. Making sure I was extra careful with the second pair. It wasn't even a year when I noticed the cracks appearing at the exact same spot. Come to find out, the cylindrical part used to encase the wires is made of two plastic pieces glued together. That is where the cracks appear due to stress from the phones pressing against the sides. It would have made more sense to use one
solid piece knowing that it would endure some stress. I was definitely dissapointed with these headphones. I will no longer consider Sony products as top of the line. I would not recommend these to anyone. I would do some research and read reviews before buying my next pair.
