The Looks: Well, they are DJ headphones, and for DJ headphones, they look cool! But you'd probably be laughed at if you tried to wear these just walking around. But, they are great for "around the house" use.
The Sound: Well, they blow my MDR-200's out of the water (no surprise). They deliver Loud, Clear Bass! The midrange and treble is also excellent: It’s always impressive to hear a pair of headphones which don’t have any tinny sound. It sounds like a pair of floor speakers, except you don’t feel the room vibrate and you feel something on your head.
The Price: Buy it online to avoid extra costs. I paid $100 for it + $13 for shipping. Don't go to an audio store and pay $150 for these! I went to pricescan.com and searched for MDR-V700DJ to find the best price. Then I checked on resellerratings.com to make sure the company I was buying from had a good customer satisfaction record before I bought it.
The Practicality: They are an excellent set of headphones if you have a roommate who likes to sleep and you love your music high quality and LOUD! I am using them as my computer headphones, when I can't pump it through my stereo. They are just great!
The Comfort: Well, they have to stay on your head, so yes you feel them when you have them on. I still have no trouble wearing them for hours at a time.
